Veterans connected to a Dr. at their VA can apply for the Community Care Network and be authorized hours of care through a home care agency
Home Care is considered non skilled, meaning we don't have PT, OT, or RN services. These would be provided from a visiting nurse agency and health insurance covers the cost. But it is for a limited period of time. Home Care can be used to compliment visiting nurses or for when visiting nurses end but care is still needed to maintain independence at home.
